\"\"Can you start by introducing yourself and telling us a bit more about your background?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u2018Of course! My name is Deborah Nansamba, I am 21 years old, and I study Electrical Engineering and Maintenance at Prime Vocational Institute (PVI). I come from a family that struggles financially, and this has had a major impact on my education.\u2019<\/p>\n

Can you tell us more about the obstacles you’ve faced during your studies?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u2018<\/strong>Absolutely. I have always had the dream of becoming an electrical engineer, but due to financial problems, I couldn’t continue my education after my “O” Level exams. My family couldn’t afford the costs of further education, and I almost gave up on my dream of becoming an engineer.\u2019<\/p>\n

What eventually helped you regain hope?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u2018A friend of my father told us about the opportunity to get a certificate in electrical installations with sponsorship. This was a golden opportunity that I couldn’t miss! Thanks to the sponsorship from Gered Gereedschap, I am now able to follow this course, and I truly see myself on the path to becoming an electrical engineer.\u2019<\/p>\n

How are you finding the program so far?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u2018I am really enjoying the course. The teachers are very supportive and help us understand the material. What also helps a lot are the tools and machines we received from Gered Gereedschap. They allow us to learn practically, which increases our interest in the field and makes it easier to understand complex subjects.\u2019<\/p>\n

What are your plans after obtaining your certificate?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u2018After obtaining my national certificate in electrical installations and maintenance, I plan to continue to diploma level and then pursue a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. I am determined to continue my education and eventually fulfill my dream.\u2019<\/p>\n

How do you see your future as an electrical engineer?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u2018I am optimistic about my future. Thanks to the support from Gered Gereedschap, I have been given the chance to pursue my dreams, and that gives me a lot of confidence. I am very grateful for this opportunity and look forward to completing my education and contributing to the world of technology.\u2019<\/p>\n
