The latest edition of the GG Bericht is out now – edition 45! In the attachment, you will find a magazine filled with stories that showcase what we have achieved together. Extra special: this is the first edition of our magazine published in English, due to our large international network.
Here are a few projects and people you will find in this edition:
- Prime Vocational Institute (Uganda): Phase two has been successfully completed – students are now working with professional tools, and teachers have been trained.
- She 360 (Ghana): young women receive vocational training and gain confidence. We hope to expand this project further with the support of our donors. Donations can easily be made via www.geredgereedschap.nl/doneer
- FOHA in the Dzaleka refugee camp (Malawi): thanks to additional sewing machines, many more women can now be trained to become independent tailors.
- Kitimbwa Technical Institute (Uganda): a school that is growing thanks to an initial donation of tools – they have even named a building after us!
- And of course, there is a feature on the new workshop in Zwolle, where Jan Roorda and his team of volunteers have enthusiastically started their work.
In addition, we say farewell to Ad Brouwer from Wolvega, look back on a wonderful campaign by Praxis, and show how young people in Gouda combine creativity with social engagement.
